Need a hand with CarBinder? Most answers are below. If you're still stuck, email us and a human will get back to you.

Contact

The fastest way to reach us is email: info@galaxyway.ai. Please tell us your device and operating-system version, and what you were doing when the issue happened. Because CarBinder stores everything on your device, never email us screenshots that contain sensitive details such as your full VIN or licence plate unless they’re needed to resolve the issue.

Getting started

  • Open the App and add a vehicle — year, make, and model are enough to begin. VIN, plate, and specs are optional.
  • Tap Log service to record work: choose a category and date, then add mileage, cost, shop, a receipt photo, and notes if you want.
  • Add a reminder for upcoming renewals like oil changes, inspection, registration, or insurance.

Receipts and documents

You can attach a photo or document to any service entry. If camera or photo access is denied, you can pick a document instead, or enable access for CarBinder in your device settings. Attached files are stored on your device and are only included in a report or export if you choose to include them.

Reminders and notifications

Reminders always appear inside the App. To also receive device notifications, allow notifications when prompted, or enable them for CarBinder in your device settings. Notification delivery depends on your operating system, so treat reminders as helpful prompts rather than guarantees for safety-critical maintenance.

Backups and moving to a new phone

Your records live on your device, so we recommend exporting a backup regularly from the App’s Export / Import screen. To move to a new phone, export a JSON or CSV backup, transfer the file to the new device, and import it in CarBinder. Imports are validated and never overwrite your existing data without your confirmation.

Privacy lock

You can enable an optional local PIN to protect private screens. There is no account and no server, which means there is no way for us to reset your PIN — please keep it somewhere safe. If you forget it, you may need to reinstall the App, which removes its local data.

Privacy and your data

CarBinder is local-first: your data never leaves your device unless you export or share it. For the full details, see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
